GAMCA Medical Test Rules for a Pregnant Woman

GAMCA-medical test for pregnant women

It is known to all that when anyone wants to go to one of the six GCC nations, he/she needs to undergo GAMCA. Whether you want to go to Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, or Qatar for a job, education, or residency; the GAMCA test is mandatory to get cleared. Without a GAMCA positive report, you cannot get visa clearance. The same rule is applied to a pregnant woman. Thus, if you are pregnant and you need to travel to any of the GCC nations mentioned earlier, you need to clear the GAMCA test first.

Pregnant Woman & GAMCA Test

In general, it is not actually a good option to travel during your pregnancy. Still, if you have no option but to fly to any of the GCC nations, you need to undergo GAMCA.

  • A pregnant woman is not required to undergo X-rays. Because the harmful rays can cause the infant inside.
  • You are not eligible to apply for a GAMCA appointment if you are in your 1st trimester. After completion of the first three months of your pregnancy, you can book an appointment for GAMCA.
  • You need to undergo only blood, urine, and eye test.

Requirement of a NOC

  • The woman needs to fill out a NOC form and send it to the concerned embassy (GCC nation’s embassy where she will fly) for approval.
  • Slip of MOFA
  • Pregnancy report from her doctor
  • Ultrasound report of pregnancy

Within five to seven days, she gets her NOC if her application for NOC will be approved. After getting the NOC, the pregnant lady can visit the GAMCA medical test center for allotted tests.

Conclusion

The pregnant woman needs to submit one more document to fly for her desired GCC nation. She requires a fitness certificate from her gynecologist before she takes off.
